A "purr-fect" book for cat lovers of all ages! About the Author... Helen Hancock lives in Tupelo, Mississippi, and is a preschool music teacher. She grew up in Olive Branch, Mississippi, and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. She enjoys singing in her church choir, helping with children's choir and playing the guitar. She has three grown children and two grandchildren. She has had a lifelong love of cats, especially rescue cats, and is proud to be known as the "cat lady". This is her first book. About the Illustrator... Gwynn Guy is an interior designer in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi, she graduated from William Carey University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Clothing and Textiles. She has lived and worked in Jackson, Birmingham, Tupelo, Memphis and Dallas. She is active in her church and sings in the choir. She has two grown daughters and four grandsons. She paints custom artwork for clients, and this is her first book illustration. All proceeds will be donated to Tupelo-Lee Humane Society: www.tupeloleehumane.org.
