G. L. Sydney Simmons has worked as an educator, broadcaster and business consultant. He has travelled and worked in Africa, Australia, Europe, the Americas and throughout the Caribbean. He is also an avid sports enthusiast and has played cricket, football, basketball, hockey and table tennis. He currently divides his time between freelance broadcasting?mainly in the area of current affairs?and working in his church where he serves as an Elder, Sabbath School Teacher and facilitates Family Life Programmes. He and his wife, Monica, have three grown children.
