Have you ever thought how difficult it seems to reconcile the call to deny self and Christ's promise to give us abundant life? Too many Christian servants focus on the denial of self, giving all to serve Christ. Soon there are spent and ministry becomes laborious. Hardy tries to find the balance between these two concepts in order to find joy in ministry. With more than 30 years in ministry, Exter Hardy has served with a variety of Christian servants. He combines this experience with his counseling experience to help Christians find joy in serving Christ. Hardy is a full-time pastor and single parent of four children, two of whom are deaf, so he finds himself regularly in the servant role.
