Hello readers, I am the author of "Life has an Ugly Face, Living with Sickle Cell Anemia." I was diagnosed with the disease at the tender age of seventeen, although symptoms started as early as nine years of age. I am a wife, mother of two children, grandmother to six beautiful intelligent grandchildren, and an evangelist evangelizing out of my home church. I dedicated my life to the Lord at the young age of 12. I could always feel God's presence in my life even when I didn't know it was him. I am a person who truly loves the Lord God and I am grateful for his love, kindness, tender mercies, and healing blessings in my life. Thank you for taking the time to share this journey with me.
