"Through the Eyes of Grace" is a story of triumph, pain and betrayal, yet through all the changing seasons, from childhood through adulthood, the author experienced God's favor, which allowed her to weather these changes. The story does not hide the shortcomings, nor battles experienced in a Christian home. It shows that Christians are ordinary people who place their faith in an extraordinary God. John, a firm believer in God and a preacher, struggled with a failure to communicate with his daughter in her youth. Nevertheless, John left with her an indelible imprint of God's faithfulness. As they both aged, they developed a beautiful relationship. Grace was a witness to John's home-going and his marvelous recovery just before slipping into glory. Grace also was there on Pearl's last day on Earth, and along with Trudy they ministered to the needs of their precious mother.
