"The Adventures of the Nutters - The Tree Highway" - is the first in a series of adventures of the squirrel family, The Nutters. Mom, Dad, Roxie, Rockit, and the infamous Rebel must leave their beloved home that is being torn down for a new shopping mall to get to the safety of the fabled woods. This is where their adventures begin, and how they meet the characters along the way. What began as an impromptu story about squirrels venturing along the "Tree Highway"- their home - blossomed into the first of a series of children's books that brings out the child in all of us.
