Since 2014 when he joined the University of Cape Town, he has been working towards the establishment of a research programme in Global Economic History. Inguscio obtained a BA in History from the University of Florence (2006), as well as a Master's of Science (2008) and DPhil (2013) in Economic History from the University of Oxford.
