Author Phillip C. Reinke's first experience with pinewood derby racers began in the Cub Scouts with his own father in central Wisconsin. The author and his son, Tyler, enjoy racing their cars at pinewood derbies in Woodstock, Georgia; and in Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, and Jacksonville, Florida. Reinke is the founder of the Continuous Improvement Institute, Executive Partner/President of the PCR Group, LLC, and was recently an Executive Director at Kaplan Higher Education.
