After the fall of the Berlin Wall, East German intelligence agents want to avoid prosecution for their crimes. A CIA mole linked to these agents attempts to provide a place in the U. S. for them to hide. Stanley Feldman, a tough CIA investigator, recruits David Morrison, a CIA analyst, to help him find the mole. Normally, David would not be involved in investigative work, but Feldman has determined that the mole is one of a handful of people who worked with Morrison in Berlin while he was in the army years before. An intricate web of facts and circumstances leaves Morrison alone in a dangerous game. His life, and the lives of his family, is threatened by unknown agents who will kill to protect their secrets.
