College years are tough years. Adjusting and thriving can be a risky journey when you leave the security of your home town and enter the world of many options and little accountability. No wonder that the college years represent the largest attrition rate in the church!! These college students long for a spiritual connection to the church and to their Christian values. Since 1997, Rev. LaVon Post has tried to bridge that gap with daily devotionals that speak to the issues that college students face daily. These devotionals have been sent faithfully to several thousand students representing more than 60 universities. This book is a compilation of those devotionals sent to college students since 1997. With a strong conviction that agape love is always practical, Rev. Post has tried to encourage and help many people though out his 30-year career. He is the founder of Harvest of Hope, a charity in two Arkansas cities. This charity raises money to feed the hungry in the state of Arkansas. He serves on the Camp Aldersgate Board, a Christian camp in Little Rock that ministers to children with special needs and chronic diseases. Young adults, especially college students, have always been on Rev. Post's heart. Rev. Post has received several recognitions for his email ministry with young adults. In 1999, he was recognized by the Interpreter magazine for his excellence in young adult ministry. In 2000, he was given a citation of appreciation by the Arkansas State Senate for his ministry to college students.
