He is an Elder and Director of Security for New Light Full Gospel Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia under the direction of Bishop Rudolf B. Lewis. Smith is a former Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and an Infantry Captain in The United States Marine Corps (USMC). Smith Received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Historic Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. Smith is married to former Debra Trimble. They are the proud parents of two children Renica and Jeffery and a grandson Triston Deron.
