The twelve men who were called to be Apostles became Eye Witnesses of His Majesty; but who were these men? Were they any different from us? You may be amazed at how typical and ordinary they were. This book will answer questions you have had but never bothered to ask: * What changed Simon into Peter (a rock)? * How did a zealot ever get into the band of apostles? * What really happened with Judas? * I'm a Nobody! Would there be a place for me in His plans? * Did you know there were three sets of brothers and one son among the Twelve? EYE WITNESSES OF HIS MAJESTY may be the single most illuminating book you have ever read on the Apostles of Jesus. Who they were Where they came from What they did What they became What they knew How they knew it plus How they died and where T. Deering Manning was ordained to the ministry in 1951. He holds BA, MA, and DCE degrees, and has served churches in Illinois, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. His last pastorate before he retired in 2001 lasted for twenty eight years. Since then, he has served as the U. S. representative for a Ukrainian publishing mission, Revival of East Slavic Lands; associate pastor of Morningstar Family Church in Middleburg, FL; served as a professor of Bible at North Florida Theological Seminary; and spent much time in writing and research. He was married to his first wife for 47 years prior to her death of Alzheimer's related causes, and they were the parents of five children, twenty two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He has been married to Beverly Anne Meares for over five years, and they are enjoying their golden years together.
