Evangel-lies is a Biblical study of the four significant laymen in the Early Church. From Acts 6-10, Dr. Robert (Rob) Peters reveals how ordinary Christians can make a significant difference by sharing the story of salvation. Dr. Peters mines a wealth of information from these chapters and applies the truths by exposing the lies Christians believe that prevent them from sharing their faith in Christ with others. Dr. Peters is married to his wife, Wendy, and is the father of three children. Dr. Peters and his family reside in North Carolina, where he is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem (www.calvarynow.com). Dr. Peters is the founder of Truth in Love Ministries, a growing radio ministry that seeks to speak the truth of God?s Word to the head and heart. He worked in the business world prior to entering the ministry. Dr. Peters has an accounting degree, a master?s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a doctor of ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
