Set of the Sail is a unique book that covers a vast array of topics by A. W. Tozer.  The title, Set of the Sail comes from the first essay in the book and is a compilation of editorial opinions from the Alliance Weekly magazine that A. W. Tozer so faithfully was the editor for decades.  In the book, the compiler set it up a devotional read and gave us a wide ranging selection of A. W. Tozer's opinions on everything from, The Power of Silence, Trying the Spirits, What Profit is in Prayer?, Faith Rests in God's Character, The Blessedness of a Fixed heart, Our Business is God, Communion of the Saints, and over 35 other essays as well.  A. W. Tozer's friend Harry Verploegh compiled this book and wanted to share the wisdom and spiritually thought provoking insight that Tozer would leave us with when he wrote these editorials. Tozer wrote, we must set our sails n the will of God and then we will certainly find ourselves moving in the right direction, no matter which way the wind blows. These articles were all born in the midst of life, in the rough seas where the children of God's voyage about.  Each is thought provoking and, challenging, helpful and hopefully will lead you to right relationship with the Father in heaven.
