Recent spiritual investigations - one by the author - have revealed that the percentage of Christians reaching the Throne Room of the Father is exceedingly low, 2.35 percent. Needed is a vigorous overcoming walk totally dedicated to Christ in order reach that goal. This story attempts to represent this type of walk in the story about a modern day young couple, Nancy and Noah. They possess no religious beliefs when they meet at the University of North Carolina. After graduation, they marry and have two children. Successful in all ventures, they make a fateful decision to see in a small hurricane on the Outer Banks ocean beach. That storm delays, becoming a monster hurricane. In the resultant near death situation, where indeed two others die, they reach for and find Jesus. From there they go into a life of trials and tests as they grow in their Christian walk, experiencing many set backs which they must overcome, including the death of their daughter in a car accident. This incident unhinges Nancy, driving her into deep despair, causing her to lose her grip on reality for a year. She is a Jane Doe in a mental institution while Noah sinks into loathing, thinking she has run off with another man. They find each again through a miracle of God. Seriously broken, they find their way back to Jesus, reaching unexpected heights in their Christian walk.
