Dexter Hightower is a young boy who grew up in Queens, New York. He was part of a loving family that was tragically separated, and he had to overcome great adversity. He spent several years in a orphanage, and found himself questioning God, his parents, and life in general. He went on to accomplished what most people can only dream about, yet found himself very unhappy and questioning his very existence. He met a man who changed his life forever, and for the very first time all the challenges he face and adversity he had gone through, made perfect sense. He was even more amazed when he came upon the gold gate, and discovered The Emerald Garden. This is a story that will make you laugh, cry, and cheer. This is a story of someone overcoming great odds, tragedy, sorrow, and depression, and being amazed at what he discovered.
