MEDICINE BUDDHA DRAGON ATTUNEMENTSThe attunements are connected to sound, light and the intellect. They are among the most profound expressions in Tibetan Tantrayana. The word is both sound and light, and light is the meaning of the word. The word is as a mirror where the divine vibrates externally. The subconscious works on the level of Attunements which are below the level of language, and only through the subconscious can the Master tap the potencies of the unknown, which is forever closed to the conscious mind. The visualization of light is central to the tantric ritual. One visualizes the deity or activates the Attunement radiating rays of light, entering oneself or others, purifying mental and physical disease. The deity or symbol merges into oneself at the heart center in the form of light. The healer then concentrates on the healing of himself or others with this visualization of light. Special forms of mantric healing are taught and this workshop counts on the occult correspondence between the mystic syllables and the subtle nadis of the body. The Medicine Buddha is not simply worshipped for his healing powers. The Medicine Buddha is the form of Buddha- nature that we as healing practitioners aspire to realize in ourselves. Through the practice of meditation on Medicine Buddha and the cosmic dragon attunements, one can generate enormous power for self-healing and for healing others.
