Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther is a devotional book covering an important time in the life of the Jewish nation. In the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, God speaks to us as we witness the rebuilding of the Temple and city walls of Jerusalem. Esther was raised up by God to be the queen of the Media and Persian empire to save the Jewish people from certain destruction at the hands of Haman, a high ranking official in the empire. God speaks to us today through how He used key people to accomplish His will for His people.
