Sentence Structure Workbook and Reader E R Weatherup

In this workbook, we begin with the parts of speech and move through the three types of sentence structures: the simple, the compound, and the complex; once these three become second nature, we combine them into the compound-complex, as well. In addition, MLA formatting and citation are discussed integrating mini-biographies about great thinkers such as Sojourner Truth, Oscar Wilde, Tolstoy, and others. These stories then serve as topics for paragraph writing, citation, and research.
