As a child, Danny Roche's father warned him to never venture into the vast woods outside Coolgreany, a warning he had passed onto his son. In the dense, dark woodland lived outcast Aidan Moore, a man who practiced the dark arts for self-gain and over the years both he and the community agreed to leave each other in peace. However, when Danny, now a man, begins to experience tragedies and his livelihood begins to suffer, he blames Aidan. With the help of other local men, Danny ventures deep into the woods to seek retribution for the unfolding malevolence. However, their vengeance may doom humanity.
