What's my story?


I'm that guy! The one who spent most of his life lying, cheating and posing as a Christian. I was an impostor. A phony. I thought I knew Jesus. I heard all the sermons. I even owned a Bible with my name engraved on the cover.


As I said, I was an impostor, and I fooled a lot of people...just not Him!
My story is simple. It is about my desperate need to die to myself before I could learn how to live for Jesus.


This book is a collection of true accounts chronicling what I shared with family and friends through a series of social media posts, illustrating how Jesus pulled me out of my own self-inflicted darkness and into His brilliant light.


So follow along and witness the profound, miraculous events that shaped my life and transformed me from a part-time churchgoer to a full-time follower of Christ.

Dave Fridlund is a follower of Jesus Christ, husband to Robynn, Step-Father and Father-in-Law to Ali and Ryan, Father to Jessie, Jake, Kenny and Kyle, and proud Grandpa to little Annabella, Clark, ... and counting!


Last but not least, daddy to a sixteen and a half-year-old puppy named Pepper, with whom I will be running through the hills of Heaven one day...unleashed!
