A-B-C's for Creating Community in the Classroom Dr Patricia Starks Howard

For more than three decades, Dr. Patricia Starks Howard has served as a teacher in grades pre-school through high school, as an assistant principal at the middle and elementary school levels, and as an academic advisor at the junior high school level. In 2017, she founded E. A. G. L. E. Educational Services, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to eradicating the achievement gaps that exist in education. She presents the workshop, "I Like Me - Building Self Esteem in Black Students Through Children's Literature," at conferences and via the internet. ABC's for Creating Community in the Classroom, is her first resource book for educators.
