What motivated me to write When I was in Primary Three, our teacher asked us to write about our holiday in December. I did not go anywhere or did anything because I only stayed at home helping my mother to peel " bean sprouts. " But while, I was doing so, my mind was making up a story about visiting my Grandmother in Malacca and eating mangosteens in her garden and I let mangosteen sap run down my dress. The teacher liked the story and read it out to the class. The girls liked it too. Soo, I told myself I can write stories and make people happy.
