I Am . . . I Can: The Rooster is the sixth book in this series of children's books. The rooster is faced with the dilemma of realizing he must be able to crow at the sun when it appears in the morning. But as a youngster, his first try was disastrous, and he hung his head in shame when all the other roosters laughed at his attempt. His mother encouraged him to practice since first attempts are usually not perfect. So he did, and soon he was able to crow a beautiful song at the rising sun.
