Lisa Wilson makes her first debut as author with the release of My Light Above Troubled Waters. This book will share some of her deepest and most painful encounters as it pertains to abuse in her life and those connected to her. Although, it was extremely hurtful for her to see abuse taking place amongst her family and friends, there were lessons from each experience that have brought about strength in her. This allowed Ms. Wilson to overcome her very own challenges and assist in helping others move out of abusive and possibly dangerous situations before it's way too late. As you read this book, Lisa's hope is that despite of the tragedy and life alternating circumstances of abuse in the lives of the stories being told, you will find their stories to be uplifting, encouraging, and empowering. Lisa was born and raised in Pennsylvania coming from a two parent household. This home was made up of strength and a "can do" attitude which exemplifies the woman she has become. She learned not to back down from anything; in which, a strong principle, she truly believes in. Lisa stands with so much strength in her soul that it has propelled her into her God-given purpose to serve and advocate to those who are lost and broken.
