"YOU WILL SPEND 1 YEAR IN BED" When the doctor told me about chemotherapy and its effects, I learned how to rest and trust, hearing God's voice louder than my circumstance or the voice of man. Some say that faith requires you to 'get out of the boat' - but for me, faith looked like getting out of bed and getting into a boat. When the doctor told me that I would be in bed for a year, my wife and I decided to develop a bucket list. These goals gave me hope. I started sculling - and with the dosage of chemotherapy that I was receiving - I shouldn't have been able to do it... But I did.
