The author, Wojtek, published many tutorials on flutemaking on his free website, and after being asked by many readers to turn the tutorials into a book, "The Art of Flutemaking" was born. The book guides the reader through each step on building a flute, from choosing materials such as branches or construction lumber or even bamboo, through measurements and carving of the main chambers, to building the sound mechanism and tuning the entire instrument.
