The Boy from Peru follows the tale of a ten-year-old who is taken out of an idyllic lifestyle living in his country of birth in Lima, Peru, to attend a public boarding school eight thousand miles away in a country that has a totally different culture. It depicts his experiences and adventures as he rebels against his parent's decision to give him a better education. This book is is based on actual experiences of the author and some events have been slightly embellished for the enjoyment of the reader.
