There is a system of government, the Melchizedek system, which has been on earth since creation. It is the same system that governs heaven. Adam was the first Melchizedek and Jesus is the final Melchizedek. Adam failed to maintain God's system of righteousness therefore, another Melchizedek was needed. There would be many Melchizedeks after Adam, some openly but most, hidden, until Jesus came into the world to perfect the system as the last and final Melchizedek. The lineage of Jesus had to be of the right bloodline. He had to be anointed by a righteous priest. His first assignment was to officiate over a righteous sacrifice. Each aspect of how Jesus became Melchizedek had to be right. The Levitical system was a temporary system until the right system could be reinstated by Jesus. The right system was and always has been the Melchizedek system.
