The different kinds of propaganda that Islam's enemies use against Islam can be divided into two categories: social and political. The sharpest, most poisonous arrow that they target Islam with involves the permissibility of plural marriages. They take advantage of women's natural disinclination towards it to incite them against Islam itself. Although we are willing to accept many painful things in life for the greater good, we find it difficult to include polygamy in that list. These are the same Westerners who call homosexual relationships an alternative way of life, who wallow in polyamorous relations, legalize trial marriage and encourage prostitution through pensions. They only raise a hue and cry when it comes to polygamy, thus exposing their own sinister intentions. The only Bengali book ever written on this topic, this book not only discusses the necessity and benefits of polygamy, but also explains the smaller details of Islamic rules regarding leading a polygamous life. We hope that this book will provide the Bengali nation a lasting shield to defeat all Western propaganda and bring back the Islamic family values in the Muslim society, and re-establish the honour and status of women in Islam.
