Midnight and Little Girl Blue Tiffany Golden

With her father and brother gone, fearful Little Nalla Blue puts on a brave front while caring for her sad mother whose tears flood their house. With no sleep, Little Nalla avoids a scary giant waiting to crush her inside of her dream. But when she meets Midnight, the keeper of dreams, she must decide if she is brave enough to fall asleep and face the giant with Midnight's help. After finally dozing off in Midnight's gentle care, they both find out that the giant is the least of Little Nalla's worries.
