Welcome to the first installment of the Talie and Jinx series. Talie has a big problem and his name is Jinx! Her little brother went from adorable baby to annoying prankster. Unfortunately, for Talie the joke is usually on her. When Jinx takes one of his pranks too far and ruins Talie's new dress, she warns him that the witch of Whispering Woods is going to punish him for his pranks. But Jinx doesn't believe in the witch that supposedly lives in the forest behind the baseball field at school. She's just something the kids made up to scare each other, he thinks. If there is one thing Jinx loves as much as pranks, it is baseball. And, what could be better than playing a prank on the baseball coach? Jinx carries out his mischievous prank and gets away with it...so he thinks. Little does he know the witch in Whispering Woods is real and is watching him!
