Located just miles north of New York City, the Hudson River villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow experienced the highs and lows of the 20th century. The villages experienced life in a grand scale from the 1909 Hudson Fulton Celebration to the 1970s village centennial and American bicentennial festivities.
