Children in the process of moving into new homes and blended families often are very anxious or sad about the transition. Mr. Daniel's Farm is a book that tells the story of a stressed out big city lawyer who was advised by his doctor to change his lifestyle, slow things down and maybe even move from the city out into the country. This is a story about how Mr. Daniel did just that, buying a piece of land, clearing it and making a farm. Mr. Daniel and his wife learned that hard work can be times of much fun and laughter when you share those times with loved ones and farm animal friends, even if those farm friends did not come to the farm from the same family. All children should love this sweet story, especially those going through a transitional time, needing to be encouraged that everything is going to be just fine. This is a story of hope. Through this book children can learn that transition to new places, friends and families can be a positive growing experience and a lot of fun too.
