This passionate, sexy novel was written by a best-selling author who wanted to create a evocative novel, with a good story, that was sexy without being crude. It contains strong characters and real life situations while focussing on a highly passionate affair between Willie, a mature student, and his new lecturer, the beautiful but reserved Sanshia. When they first meet Sanshia is intimidated by the more sophisticated Willie and she reacts by treating him badly. Their relationship deteriorates until Willie puts her across his knee and spanks her...putting his place at the university in jeopardy. At first shocked and outraged Sanshia attempts to get her revenge but Willie's very physicality unleashes her repressed sexuality and they embark on a furious affair. There are a lot of problems with their relationship: Willie's roommate and very close friend is a girl, Sanshia is Willie's lecturer, Willie's finals are just around the corner and someone is refining drugs in the university laboratories! The rather innocent Sanshia is unprepared for the effect that their explosive affair will have on her professional life and the way her emotions are compromising her career and Willie is battling to come to terms with how it is effecting his complicated personal life. Their love affair is physical and passionate but it is very strong and it is the first time either of them have fallen in love. Their affair comes to a climax (!) around the final exams and is set against the backdrop of a university campus and the everyday life of students and their professors.
