So begins the adventures of reporter Daisy Tinselle as she becomes an embedded reporter for The Reindeer Games. Vixen is retiring and it is revealed the new sleigh team member is selected by a grueling contest called The Reindeer Games. For example the first elimination challenge is barrel pulling by the pledges. They're hooked up to barrels weighted the equivalent of an empty sleigh all the way up until a fully-loaded sleigh. No one has ever pulled a fully-loaded sleigh but amazingly Buster McCoy (one of the contestants) is able to do it. The games continue but Daisy uncovers a scandal, a secret. Are the games real? Why does Santa need to show this to the world now? And why are there armies of elves training at the secret NPO base?
