While enjoying a summer night with her mother and her dog, Pictolitto observes a beam of red light over the Curious Forest. Certain that they have just witnessed a flying saucer, the family heads into the forest to investigate further. The light is gone by the time they arrive, leaving behind only a jar of asparagus seeds that grow rapidly. Pictolitto full of joy, believing that the asparagus seeds can end world hunger and help kids eat healthily, she waits impatiently for them to be fully grown.
