"The Twelfth Apostle" is the new Inspector Walter Darriteau murder/mystery. It's set in the present day in the northwest of England. Walter receives a late night phone call from a long-ago superior from Scotland Yard. He needs a favour, and he needs it bad. The body of a young Oriental woman is unceremoniously dumped outside the city swimming baths at the dead of night. A young man with aging parents, struggling to make a living, goes missing without warning. Sergeant Karen Greenwood attends a smart lunch in the centre of Chester where a big moneymaking scheme is being promoted. Four apparently random events that couldn't possibly be linked, but four events that lead Walter Darriteau and his team into frantic conflict with ruthless killers and crooks.
