He is a semi-retired pharmacist and she is a retired elementary school teacher. They have two grown children and seven grandchildren. Shortly after his first depression, Bill felt The Lord speak to his heart about writing a book which would help people handle their depression. He had no idea he would have to experience two more episodes of depression before The Lord revealed to him the major content of that book, which you now hold in your hand. He in no way claims to be an expert or an authority on the subject of depression, but only shares in this book the things that helped him in hope they will help you as well. The book carries you from his childhood dream, through the corridors of some basic medical and treatment information, into the Hallowed Halls of the Word of God. From there you take a turn with him briefly down the bumpy and scary road of each of his depressions; then you sit with him in the classroom as God instructs him on what he should learn from each one. In Chapter 7 you wind up on a higher plane as you find out how much God loves you, and that He desires for you to spend eternity in Heaven with Him!
