The Seven Spirits of God are the spirits of God himself. They have different characteristics, abilities, functions, and attributes as written in the book. They show and portray who God is, his powers, dominion, capabilities, and most essentially, his love for humanity. The Seven spirits of God are the spirits of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of understanding, the spirit of counsel, the spirit of might, the spirit of knowledge, and the spirit of the fear of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord functions primarily as the Holy Spirit, the spirit of wisdom enables one to do the right things at all times. The Spirit of Understanding allows and enables one to learn, be informed, and take the right decisions. The spirit of counsel is the branch of the Holy Spirit that enables wise counsel. He is the problem solver and a solution provider. The Spirit of Might has to do with authority and powers of God released by God to help at all times. The spirit of knowledge helps in having clear perceptions about issues. Conclusively, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Fear of the Lord enables one to love, worship, respect, and care for God, and also love one another as ourselves (Mark 12;30-31) .
