About the Author Malcolm Jamal Phillips is a young man who is a Christian and a radical for Jesus. Malcolm has cerebral palsy, but that doesn't stop him from living life for Jesus. Malcolm uses a DynaVox Vmax to communicate and to write with his left knee. Malcolm knows that without Jesus, nothing is possible. Malcolm likes this prayer, and it can be found in 1 Chronicles 4:10 from the New International Version: Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, 'Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.' And God granted his request. Malcolm has a special purpose from God, and that is to get people to realize that everybody needs Jesus today.
