She is the mother of three children and six grandchildren to whom this book is dedicated. This book was inspired by God moving through her Goddaughter, in the form of teasing her mother of being an "old bat." She in turn said you must be Baby Bat. The teasing continued and she became known as Godbat. As they laughed and enjoyed calling each other by their new names, the Lord inspired her to write a children's series of books based on the acronym: Believers Always Triumph or the BAT series. About The IllustratorWhen Celia Messer was seven years old she told her mom she wanted to be an artist and a school teacher when she grew up... And that is exactly what she did. She does freelance artwork from her home studio in Columbus Ohio where she and her husband also homeschool their three children. Through the years she has enjoyed the opportunity of doing a variety of artwork, from courtroom sketches, portraits, murals and more.
