About The Author Dorothy Ferrell is an author and founder of Run to the Water Ministries a non-profit ministry which was formed in 2001 to help the lost, hurting and those in need from all walks of life. She has been in ministry for over 35 years and is from Los Angeles CA. However, the year 2006 was a year of "transitioning/repositioning". Within the same year she relocated to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and now resides in Irving, TX. This is the fourth book that Dorothy has written and published. She is active in her community and city government where she resides. Along with writing, Dorothy loves to spend time with her family. In 2004, she lost her former husband and knows the importance of cherishing every moment of being a loving mother of three adult children and grandmother of seven, all while putting God first.
