What does a written message received in Washington, D. C. in 2014 have to do with the same verbal message uttered twelve years before by an old man in a run-down Afghan market? How are they connected? What does the message mean? Why has it come now? These are questions that will haunt ex-Army Ranger Kyle Rexler, now the successful owner of a global security company, as he tries to find out where the message came from and who sent it. As his pursuit intensifies, Rexler will seek help from Rachel Malloy, a ten-year FBI veteran and senior member of the agency's Domestic Terror Task Force. It becomes evident that the sender has a personal vendetta against America and Rexler, individually. He threatens unprecedented attacks within the borders of the United States and dares Rexler and all of America's authorities to stop him. Rexler receives ten messages, one prior to each planned strike, messages containing clues, symbols, and riddles denoting the time, location, and method of each attack. The Ranger and the Agent will criss-cross the country as they unravel the mystery and try to stop the impending disasters. Will their evolving personal relationship interfere with their efforts and investigation? Rexler will call on his ex-Ranger brothers-in-arms and also employ his company's computer operations staff in deciphering the messages, a facility referred to as "Cyborg City" because it is composed entirely of ex-military single and double amputees. Malloy will call on her FBI superiors, the CIA, DHS, and even the White House to keep things from spiraling out of control. Together they have the personnel and combined resources, but do they have the time to stop the physical and psychological mayhem before delivery of... "THE ELEVENTH MESSAGE."
