At fifteen, a teenager escapes from a personal, verbal, and physically abusive nightmare at home. He flees into the mountains where he finds another world, one with freedom and independence. He discovers an abandoned, mysterious, well-supplied military bunker complex hidden deep inside a mountain. Nearly everything imaginable is available in this forgotten military bunker. It's a windfall for a kid who has only planned for an approximate four-month escape into wilderness, naively unaware that four months of supplies isn't going to last forever. Reveling and thriving, the new occupant slowly devolves into the being of an internal psychopath and sociopath with no moral compass, but who still harbors an enjoyment of the new vistas that lie out in the world. An out of the ordinary coming-of-age story that looks back fifty years, En Brera: Escape & Discovery follows the teen on his journey of self-discovery where the loner comes to understand full well who he is. He's lived to date against all odds.
