Joyous Universe: the Beings of Volkana. Syed Abid

The Beings of Volkana is about mythos meeting real mythos. A journey and an adventure that takes us on the paths of evolution criss-crossing at intersect on an island. The story is written in a style that encapsulates poetry in a form where we hear the first person voice of the central character italicized and repeat uses of ellipses as symbolic representation of bubbles in the waters below the island, from where life once began. The narrative tells the tale of the civilizations, its kingdom and the worlds below and the island that emerges from it. The island forms the basis of a new trade link that connects the greatest of civilizations. Volkana is the lifeblood of the island and has sacred elements of the ground which brings civilizations into worship. With tested loyalty, religious adherence, courage, exploration and unity, we are taken into the realms of nature that has kept a lid closed and now has surfaced to open. When civilizations, meets new civilizations, we learn that the aliens are the people more or less familiar. The stories that they share give us knowledge of our existence.
