This book introspects on the educational system in India. The author discusses the challenges faced by schools, teachers and Principals. The responsibilities of the management and the parents are addressed. The challenges of overcrowded class rooms, lack of infrastructure and absence of sensitive attention to students and dismissal of genuine complaints of students are discussed. People engaged in imparting school education are persuaded by the author to accord top priority to students' welfare in a sustained manner. The author narrates many anecdotes drawn from experience to illustrate the ailments afflicting our schools. The book is not merely a compilation of the challenges faced by our students, teachers and Principals. Some possible solutions are also suggested. Children deserve the best education whatever be their social background. The focus of the book is on children and entirely on children. The book is dedicated to the student community, the future of our country.
