I Lizard came about because author Lynn Latham always saw lizards in his yard. The lizards weren't mean. They ate the bugs and he grew to like them. Having never seen a children's book on lizards, Latham decided to write one.



About the Author


Lynn Latham retired from the United States Navy after 21 years and then worked as a civilian federal employee with the Navy Department for another 23 years before his retirement. He was married for 50 years before his wife passed away. They have five children and several grandchildren. He is enjoying retirement and decided to do a little writing. The Navy provided great training and schools. Latham completed his bachelor's degree while serving in the Navy and Civilian Service.
