Sarah's Most Perfect Day was inspired by the author's niece who has Down syndrome. Her niece is now 23 years old and has graduated from high school. The thirteen-year-old girl in the book does not have Down syndrome and is able to enjoy and do things that the author wishes her niece could do in her life.

About the Author




This is Lady Kathryn T. Krohn's first children's book, originally published in 2007. The author lives in North Carolina with her husband. She plays the flute in her community band and likes to paint from time to time. Her favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, who also lives in southern North Carolina.
