After seeing her fiancé with another woman, Jamie needs a break. She packs up, and heads out alone on a road trip. She doesn't tell her mom or her best friend, she just goes. She's not sure how long she'll be gone. She just knows that life has been so busy and she needs to take some time for her, to figure out what she wants to do with her life.

Along the way, she meets Chord. She wasn't planning on falling in love. She wasn't planning anything other than getting away from the hustle of her life as a lawyer.

Chord is a U. S. County Sheriff Deputy. He had been a police officer, but took a break from it. Together, they find themselves and in doing so, they find out that love is worth it.



About the Author

Sheila Seely loves spending time with her husband, their adult twin daughters, and their three young grandchildren. They enjoy camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and taking hikes to explore new places.

Having lived in the Pacific Northwest for ten years, Seely currently lives in Utah. This is her first published book.
